Stepping Forward

  • Education and interactive sessions for families, friends and workers providing information and support relating to alcohol and other drugs.
  • Each session runs for approximately 2 hours and is open to the public
  • Current Modules offered:
    Session 1 – Families Stages of Change
    Session 2 – Effective Communication
    Session 3 – Alcohol and Other Drugs Information
    Session 4 – Drug and Alcohol Treatment Options
    Session 5 – Setting Workable Boundaries
    Session 6 – Dealing with Conflict
    Session 7 – Families and Ice

Each session runs for approximately 2 hours and is open to the public.

Stepping Forward Topic Preview – Stages of Change for Families

This video explains the work of Family Drug Support and discusses the Stages of Change for Families model.  This model can be helpful for families to understand where they are at on their journey and start to learn how to cope depending on what stage they may be at.
